Cool Dominos Online...Too Cool!

First of all, Tuesdays are 2for1 night, at Dominos. If you buy a large pizza, you get a large (equal or lesser value), for free.

So, I went online to place my order...clicked on the coupon (you don't have to HAVE a coupon, just click the one on the order form)...ordered the two pizzas...and registered my username (for future orders).

Then, it said, "You Got Confirmation", and this "Pizza Tracker" popped-up. It has a scale, and moves from "Order Placed" to "Prep" to "Oven" to "Box" (where it is now), and then to "Delivery". So, you can just minimize that window, and then surf the web, and keep checking the scale, to see where your order is.

OOPS! Gotta go...just checked...they're on their way! That is just TOO cool!

That's even better than tracking a ups order!
So what did you get?

How cool is that?
I wonder if they'll deliver in rural Dent County down here by Booger Co...down in the holler, three white oaks from the big pot hole on the dirt road?

I'll have to try that when I'm in CA...I love Dominos Pizza........the biggest thickest topping on a thin crust....well I like that deep dish kinda crust too............I want everything on mine but anchovies.

Are you sure we're talking about the same pizza company?? My local Dominos Pizza is not even close to having the thickest topping on anything. It would take the toppings of 4 Dominos to equal one Pizza Hut.

Mellie, that tracking system is really neat. I wonder how they go about keeping the order and delivery process updated for the customer?

Very cool! I was so excited when I discovered I could order Pizza Hut online! No fun tracker, though.

As soon as I clicked "submit" on this thread, I said, "Scarlett, do you want to wait on the front porch for the Pizza Dude?" (She knows who the Pizza Dude is...she started barking and going round and round, in circles.) Well, as we were walking to the door, the "Pizza Dudette" knocked on the door. It was REALLY fast.

We got a Large Italian Sausage/Hamburger and a Large Italian Sausage/Bacon...we like Italian Sausage. I ordered thin crust. I love their thin, crispy crust, that they cut in squares.

But, I just ate one piece with the crust, and scraped the toppings off the rest, and ate with a fork...too many carbs in the crust.

Gee, sure wish we lived in an area with Dominoes (maybe one 10 miles away) - that sounds GOOD and so convenient!
So did Scarlett get a bite???
