Lone Star has great burgers....as do Montana Mikes, the food at Texas Land and Cattle at Branson Landing is getting RAVE reviews from my sources, I will assume they have burgers, I have not been able to get there yet but I do have incredibly reliable sources............need to add All American Cafe to this list.....had a great burger and O-Rings there.....

There's several great places around town to choose from, but when it's strictly just about the burger, I go to Fuddruckers off the 76 Strip. It's like the Golden Corral of Hamburger restaurants. They cook burgers exactly to your preference. Plus there's options galore (buffet style) for burger and fry toppings as well as numerous soft drink choices to choose from. It all makes for a happy-fattening meal!

Billy Bob's, for sure for the smalltown atmosphere. Fuddruckers for the city slicker atmosphere.

Oh wait, is Dillons Pub still making burgers including the Bubba Burger(which is a full pound burger, I believe!)? I haven't had one since they moved out of downtown because I can't find the new restaurant, but I remember that as being the BEST! If it's still around, can somebody post directions (including landmarks, not just road numbers!)

Go up Mount Branson...look to your immediate left at you hit the top of the hill...there it is. Dillon's is the best anywhere for a good old school burger & fries. The Bubba will test your burger eating endurance, the Juicy Lucy is the one I get. It don't get much better than that. But, if you don't like a bar atmosphere, pool tables, etc. Dillon's may not be the place for you.

Okay, I give, where's Branson Mountain? My mom and I split the Bubba Burger once and then laughed about our small appetites! "Oh, we just split a burger for lunch!"

Cross the bridge in downtown Branson (like you're going to Hollister), then hang a left on 76 east, (toward Forsyth), go straight, then curve to your right, the first big hill you go up, that's Mount Branson. Driveway to Candlestick Inn, the junkyard, then Dillon's on the left.

Thanks, Bluesman! I have gone in the correct general direction, then. I just have turned right toward Hollister.
