if we went to a show this Sat night...
would you all recommend Baldknobber's or Presley's or something else along those lines... we don't want dinner with show. we are going out with friends who have not been to Branson before.

Both shows are GREAT.......the Presleys are my fave though!

We've seen both shows in the past and the Presleys are a much better show. On occasion we go to the Baldknobbers but they just can't compare to the Presleys. Last year we left the Baldknobbers saying we'll probably never go back. Although, I'd have to say that the Baldknobbers do the best tribute to the veterans than any other show in town. That's the only good spot in the show.
Another excellent show is the Grand Jubilee, New South. Last year we took in 14 shows and rated New South #1, Jackson Cash #2 and Presleys #3 and everything else under that. Just my opinion.

I agree! I love the Grand Jubilee. I also saw Six and The Haygoods recently...both excellent shows!

I've been hearing so much good stuff about Six on this board lately. We've not seen this show yet. I think we'll have to add it to our list for this year.

I am a little partial to Presley's with it being my family. Baldknobber's also have a great show. You can't really go wrong.
I personally feel that Presley's though has a very good variety and we have had many visitors come back year after year. My grandpa who is 83 still performs nightly. There is four generations of family performing along with other very talented performers. Which ever show you choose I am sure you will not be disappointed. If you do happen to go this Sat night though, stop in the front gift stand and say hello to my mom, Janice. I will most likely be there too visiting and could say hi. Have a fun trip.  |
