Has anyone seen the shows at the GeneWilliams theatre? Denny&Sheila Yeary and Gary Welch. I believe there might be acouple of more shows there? what's your opinion? Any comments appreciated.

I know the shows are taped a couple of weeks ahead, but on the GW show that ran last night, Gary said he would be there. ![]()

Denny and Sheila Renee (The Sweethearts of Branson as they have billed themselves) are Branson staples. Denny is a former Blackwoods Quartet member with a deep bass voice. He can be seen doing many pre-shows around town, also.

If I understand, the Branson Mall Theatre is now the Gene Williams theatre. No idea if he owns or rents. Others will know more I am sure.

I heard Gene say on his show that he bought that theater. But, who knows.
The only reason I watch that show is because I am baffled at how that guy can have a show on national television and be that terrible. That is the worst mess of a show that I have ever seen and I think it does Branson more harm than good. To each there own I guess. Quote:

![]() I could be wrong, but I think they said on the GW show the other night, Johnny Lee show tickets would be $15 each. I dunno if this is for a certain time period of what, but they should fill some seats at that rate. Even if Gene has a bank roll, it's gonna be a challenge. ![]()

The city ought to pay Lucas NOT to broadcast it. The visitor count would probably go up considerably. ![]() |
