Big Cedar or Chateau for Fireworks . . .

or Branson Belle? I'm assuming you can see pretty well from Chateau since it is on that hill. I haven't even checked yet to see if Branson Belle is booked for the 4th. Any experiences?

Last year, Big Cedar started blocking-off their roads, a few hours before the fireworks. They wanted their guests to be able to view them, without all of the "visitors". I know DH had a rough time, getting out of there, when he got off of work.

I just read that Chateau's Fireworks will be on July 5th and Big Cedar's are on July 4th. Is one show superior to the other, or are they comparable?

Nice match up! That's my favorite time of the year in Branson. Tradditionally, Big Cedar has my heart. We've taken the boat out many summers to watch it from the lake.

It's great both events are on different dates and have developed reputations for putting on good shows.

From a boat does sound great! We have watched many 4th of July displays at Lake of the Ozarks from the water. Gets really CRAZY when it's over, though!!

Since we've never been to Table Rock for fireworks, where is a good spot to view them? I have thought about staying at Chateau, but not sure we need to pay $200 +. Will they allow you to visit the property just to watch, or do they close it off like Big Cedar? Can you see them from any properties in Branson? Can you park along the road?
