Amazing Pet Show
Has anyone been to the Amazing Pet Show? Is it worth the money? We have a 3 year old, would it interest her? I see they have a morning show that weekend.
Thanks! ![]()

Well, I haven't seen it this year. I did see it last year and it was nowhere near the quality of show that Gregory Popovich had when his animal show was there. Based on last year's show, I would say it would be okay for a 3 year old.

That is the ONLY show I have ever walked out of at intermission. It was so horrible even the kids around me were complaining. I love pets and animal shows but this was a complete disaster. It reminded me of a grade school show and tell "my cat fluffy will now play the piano" and the cat just sets there.
It was a train wreck in slow motion and I got bored at intermission and left. I didn't want to waste the next hour of my life watching that garbage. I even stopped and told a person in the box office that it was so horrible it was a joke. |

When I got my season pass I decided to check it out. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The children around me (and there were LOTS of kids) seemed to enjoy it.

I & gr kids, 8 & 10, saw the show last summer...it was not interesting & very boring to me as an adult. My gr son was called upon the stage to help with the "snake-in-the-basket" trick, but, even with that event, my kids were not impressed with the show, either..There was not enough action happening on the stage to really keep childrens' interest in the show. Too slowly paced, & little substance. Many of the other kids watching the show, were fidgeting in their seats, esp. when the MC was just standing on the stage, talking & talking about what he was going to do next.......A little girl in front of us kept asking her parents "can we leave, now?".....they didn't return after intermission.... Imo.....you could take the best parts of the show & condense them into a 10/15 min. skit & add it to the afternoon comedy show............ ![]() |
