Pools with slides . . . . .
I am aware of the indoor waterpark at Grand Country, but what I am looking for are outdoor pools with slides. Think 1970's
At least motels I remember growing up had slides. We stayed at Ramada last summer, and they had one. My son LOVED it! I think I saw a pic of Caprice Motor Inn having a pool with slide. Any others? I realize that older properties are the ones that have slides. This is OK as long as they are clean. I would like to be farther down 76 this year than Ramada. Thanks! |

Go to the Rec Plex instead of only the hotel pool. Inexpensive, slides and water sprays too.

1st Inn looks really nice on their website! Recently remodeled, flat screen TVs . . . What are they close to? I will also probably call to make sure their remodel didn't include removal of the pool slide.
The Rec Plex looks great, as well. Very inexpensive. Thanks for the suggestion! |

I just checked out Melody Lane online. The pool pic didn't show a slide.

Coloney,,, Col???? drawing a blank.... but it was not only a slide but a fairly long slide |

OkieAnon, I know the place you're talking about in Branson West. I don't know the name either
It isn't listed on Tripadvisor. I'll have to do some further research. Not sure we want to stay that far "west".Stillwaters would be a great choice, but . . . . I think they have minimum stay requirements in the summer. We're looking at a long weekend at the most. Thanks for the suggestion, though. |

fwiw.........a lot of diving boards & slides have been removed from public/motel pools all across the U.S. in an attempt to avoid lawsuits from customers that have been injured while using them.

Yep, they're a big liability issue and very hard to find. They sure are fun, though. My mother always hated them when I was little thinking I was going to bust my head open. Luckily, I didn't.
Mystery solved . . . . . Colonial Mountain Inn. VERY little info about it on the web. |

Golden Arrow Resort out on Indian Point RD
has a slide and they just redid their pool last summer. Great resort and great rates too. That is always our first choice..
Great owners too.. |
