Branson Stimulus Package - 2 Free Show Tickets

New Economic Stimulus Promotion Doubles Ways to Cash In

Branson, Missouri, wants people to have fun with their economic stimulus check by vacationing in
"The Live Music Show Capital of the World.”

A new Branson promotion offers visitors two free show tickets just for bringing a
copy of the stimulus check, or proof of direct deposit, to the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.

Since only a copy is required, the checks can still be cashed at Sears, Lowes, Kroger
and other national stores to take advantage of these national stimulus plan promotions;
thus check recipients have two ways to "cash in” for each tax rebate check.

Shows participating in this promotion include

1. 50's at the Hop
2. Amazing Pets
3. The Baldknobbers
4. Breaking Up Is Hard to Do, a Musical Featuring the Songs of Neil Sedaka
5. Brett Family Morning Show
6. Buck Trent Morning Show
7. Celebrate America
8. Comedy Jamboree
9. Country Tonite

20. Justin Flom’s Imaginary Theatre & Magic Parlor
21. Kirby VanBurch
22. Legends in Concert
23. Liverpool Legends
24. Magnificent Seven
25. Mark Lowry Show
26. Mickey Gilley
27. New Shanghai Circus
28. New's Country at the Little Opry Theatre at IMAX
29. Penny Gilley Show featuring Jeff Brandt
30. The Promise
31. Rankin Brothers
32. RED
33. Ricky Boen and Texas Mud
34. The Shepherd of the Hills
35. Yakov Smirnoff

Wonder what you have to show if you got a direct deposit instead of an actual check?

Probably a print out of your bank account statement showing the deposit.

Just black out sensitive information or other info you don't want visible.

The site says you randomly draw for tickets, you don't choose your show

according to the chambers web site it says all you need is some proof from the bank that they received a direct deposit.

then you go to the chambers office and draw an envelope and take whatever voucher is inside it to the theaters box office to receive your tickets.

it'd be a pretty good deal if you weren't on a schedule... had some other shows reserved or something that might interfer, but my luck the times of the shows i'd draw out would conflict with something else we had reserved.

BUT, maybe you could trade them with someone at the Chamber office (someone else 'showing off' their stimulus package).......for something that'll be of benefit to you.

I'm looking forward to my stimulus package now.

I thought it meant two tickets for each check. Since you and your spouse receive one check you would get two tickets to the same show. If you were living together and had two checks then you could probably see two shows!

Yes, I think you are right.
But will it be one ticket to two different shows or two tickets to one show?
That's what I am wondering.

2 free show tickets

What we were told when we signed up was that the chamber would be giving two free tickets (to the same show) for each check. And yes, if you have proof of a direct deposit that will work too.

LBM, where did you see that the offer only goes until July 31st? I thought we would be able to take advantage of their offer but we are not planning to visit until October. Sure doesn't seem like there should be a time limit attached to this....shouldn't make a difference how soon we spend our stimulus check.

www.explorebranson.com/stimuluscheck

It is on the website under "Ticket Distribution Guidelines" right above the list of participating shows.
