Hollywood Wax

Anybody think the wax museum is worth a visit? Never been to one and I thought it might be fun. Any discounts anyone knows of?

Thanks

I think it is worth seeing one time. I think in the Branson book that you buy in town (It is 12 or 16 dollars) has a coupon for buy one get one free or maybe it is buy one get one half off. Does anyone here have one of those coupon books that can look this up???? We enjoyed seeing it.

Buy one - get one half price.

I have been in lots of times. I like it. I will let you know this though, if your not a horror fan they have a whole horror room of like Freddy Krueger, Jason, Micheal, etc. You have to go down some stairs to see all them. If you do not wish to go into this room then before you hit the stairs there is an elvator(forgive spelling) to the right side so you dont have to go into that room. Its for anyone who is afraid of those monsters. I normal dont let anyone know this but its always good to know for first timers. I remember when I was younger I use to be afraid. When we get to that room I would have my dad or uncle pick me up and I would hide my face in their shoulder so I didnt see the scary monsters. They look so real. Even now to me they still do. Wish I could have some of them for my Halloween display. *grins evily*

Thanks for the heads up about the horror stuff. That's why we check the forums before we go anywhere.

Thanks everyone for your helpful tips.

If I'm remembering correctly, discount coupons are also available in the coupon flyers that you pick up at the hotels, restaurants, etc. There's even a coupon on their website.....

Your Welcome. I just didnt want anyone in your party to be freaking out or anything like that when I to when I was younger did. Now I am a horror freak. For awhile they did have someone in that area scaring people another heads up for that. I dont know if they still do like this year or not but it never hurts to let someone know to ask.

For some reason, my son was really freaked out over Hollywood Wax. We first went there when he was 6 years old. He screamed all the way through the museum. Dh had to carry him through the whole museum. He told us that he didn't like the talking tree in the Wizard of Oz scene at the beginning of the tour and we let one of the workers know the next year when we went. He turned off the tree, but ds still screamed. I don't know if it was because of the wax figures not moving or not. If you have little ones, I would wait until they were older before going to Hollywood Wax.

Wax

My family and I went in April. The Wife and I liked it but the kids thought it was ho humm. they are 10-12. Note my kids wanted to go and it was raining and cold that day so it was worth what we spent with coupons. There is a few spots that are very inspiring.
