Most of this thread was me, but I wanted to say that I stayed there again between Christmas and New Year. Both times my room was clean and comfy, but definitely no frills...it's as much as I'd expect for well under $40 per night.

We have stayed there twice cheap and clean. Like someone said no frills but worth the price.

My inlaws have a motorcycle they ride up to Branson about once or twice a month and stay a night each time. They like the place.

Hi everyone, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
Just an update on several motels.
We own Green Mountain Inn, located on the yellow route. GREAT LOCATION. Get around town without ever getting on the strip.
With 51 rooms, an outdoor pool, free breakfast (waffles, oatmeal, cereal, toast, fruit, doughnuts, milk, juice, and coffee).
Enjoy a room with two queen beds, one king, or a 2 bedroom suite. Also have a couple of jacuzzi rooms.
Prices start at $49.95 in June for 2 queens. We do give a discount to anyone saying they saw us on this board. Call for details. If two people stay at least three nights, we make it $45 a night. More people make it a little higher.
Restaurants close by are McDonalds, Panera Bread, Lone Star steak house, Pasta House, and Dockers buffet.
We have All Access Branson deliver show tickets to the office, at no charge for delivery. They will not try to sell you anything either!

Country Bunkhouse and Dollar Saver belong to us also. We just purchased Dollar Saver. Both are newly painted outside, and most rooms inside. All rooms are guaranteed to be CLEAN. Rooms range from $27 and up, depending on how many beds and how many people.
Close to the Titanic, and right next door to the Starlite theatre, you can walk to many attractions. Montana Mikes is a couple doors down, and The Belgian Waffle House right across the street.

I see that we are supposed to call Amos and Debbie at Country Bunkhouse. Where is Doris? I stayed with "her" three times last winter!

Also, is Dollar Saver next to Country Bunkhouse?

We have stayed at the CB many times. I agree, NO frills. But our room is always clean. If it is just a place to sleep, then this is a great option. Very cheap. My wife and I have stayed many times for about $33 per night.

Well, because of this thread, I booked a room for my husband and I at the Green Mountain Inn for Memorial Day weekend. The last time we were in Branson we stayed at a hotel that should have been condemned. It was beyond horrible. I'm looking forward to staying with the people at Green Mountain because they really seem to care about their business.
