Lodging w/ pools........

My next trip to Branson will be in early June, as soon as school is out up here. We have 7! snow days to make up that has added to our school year. I'll be bringing my 2 gr ch, 8 & 10. A pool is mandatory!

But I'm thinking that in early June, the outside pools won't be that warm, so I need hints for lodging with both indoor & outdoor pools........

Any suggestions???? Thank you.......

Pools I'd recommend

Here are hotels with indoor pools I'd recommend:

All three Comfort Inns
All three Best Westerns
Quality Inn Shepherd of the Hills Expressway
Mountain Music Inn
Southern Oaks Inn
Hampton Inn
Grand Oaks Hotel

Other indoor pool options:
Angel Inn (looks small)
Lodge of the Ozarks
Boxcar Willie II
Honeysuckle Inn

I'm not trying to pull your chain, would like your honest opinion of our latest pool we have added to our resort.

Take a look and let me know your thoughts on it. Just took the picture yesterday and yes, people are already swimming in it. Seems it's never too chilly for the youth.

Cascades has a really nice indoor pool. Great rooms too, larger than most. Basic continental breakfast, why I don't know. The accomodations are definitely nicer than most, you'd think they'd go above and beyond for breakfast.

wow... great view. that would be great to sit & look out over the hills and lake, looks like nice sized pool... i'm a wimp though it would have to warm a bit for me to swim outdoors.

Yeah, it is just under 2,000 sq/ft. I agree, it has a great lakeview to boot as well. This pool warms incredibly quick because of it's design. It "walks in" so it has a pretty shallow start - giving the shallow end time to heat up and then work it's way on down to the deep end.

By June, I expect just the opposite problem - too hot.

I think I will come back here and view the pix of your pool when I need to mentally "go to a happy place".
It's beautiful.

We stayed at the Angel Inn last year and it does have an indoor pool. We were very satisfied with the room and hotel. Reasonable rates too.

Great View Hunters Friend - looks like a fantastic pool too!

I'm wondering how much of that 'lake view' will still be there when the lake returns to it's normal level? Who built the pool?

Believe it or not, we did. "We" being the contractor who builds our condos, myself with software, and the contractors' team of workers. Prices for construction have gotten to the point of utter stupidity so further review left us with the feeling this could be done quite easily and in the end, it was.

It doesn't show in the pic real well but the centerpiece is a fountain and on the south side is a waterfaill. North side has a serving area and the west side has a huge tanning area.

Overall, we are quite pleased with our latest addition to the stable.

Yep, the lake is crazy out of control right now, but it will still have a nice view later on I believe. We'll see.

Caprice Motor Inn has both an indoor and an outdoor pool. They're were in either in the interstate coupon book or the my travel buddy book. Nice clean rooms but a very small continental breakfast.

We stayed there for a short mini 2 day vacation and we were also pleased with the room. VERY reasonable rates, and indoor pool. We never had a chance to use the pool but it looked nice.

Several options

The Quality Inn on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, Southern Oaks Inn, Grand Oaks Hotel, Hotel Grand Victorian, Clarion, and Mountain Music Inn all have indoor and outdoor pools so you're covered either way. All three Comfort Inns and all three Best Westerns have very nice indoor pools as does the Hampton Inn.

Thanks to all of you that have replied. I plan to check out several of them.

&...... I'm still open for ideas. (The breakfast is not important.) The pools are!

Any one know how things are @ Mountain Music Inn? I stayed there 3 seasons back, before it changed owners, & it was very nice, then. Think I've read some less than favorable comments with new owners (?)
