Kimberling City Fun in May

On May 9, 10, and 11,
U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliaries from several states will compete on water and air in water rescue competitions.
They'll be based at Kimberling Inn, near the bridge in Kimberling City, and May 10 is the best viewing date of lake-side competitions.

May 10, at 10 a.m.,
the folks from MarineMax will give free boating lessons to women.
It's part of the company's ongoing Women On the Water series.
It's at the MarineMax Kimberling City Yacht Center, Port of Kimberling.

And May 17 and 18
is the Port of Kimberling's first Summer Splash, a water boat show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Spokesman Ryan Hamilton says its the only boat show where you can test drive the houseboats, cruisers, pontoons, ski and fishing boats.
Food and drink and kids activities are part of the event.
