Horizons By Marriot
We were in Branson for the first time from April 11-18th. My husband, age 51, me age 48, son age 19, daughter age 12. We loved it! We are timeshare owners so we got a great deal on a "Getaway vacation" from Interval. We paid less than $200 for 7 nights at the Horizons by Marriot. Halfway through the week we had a minor problem. I called the front desk, and asked to speak to the manager. He immediatly moved us to a huge 2 bedroom with a full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, everything we could possibly want or need. We had been in a smaller unit- which was big enough but this was really nice! They also gave us $80 worth of Olive Garden gift cards for the inconvenience of having to switch rooms. And really, the problem that we had was not that bad-
We do travel alot, and this is what I noticed about this resort:It is very clean and well maintained All service personell were polite and helpful They do have free washer and dryers on each floor for the units that do not have washer and dryers in the rooms A nice game room almost everything in there was free... pool, ping-pong,ect... Fitness Center, nice indoor heated pool and hot tub Free wine and cheese party Daily activities for both kids and adults, such as basketmaking, golf, Free winery tours, tye dyed t- shirts, all kinds of craft, ect... most were only a small fee Daily ice cream sundaes Unit was fully stocked even dish and laundry soap, and coffee! Free hi speed internet connection in our unit I want to mention again that this resort was spotless- Very polite and helpful staff- they went above and beyond to be sure we had a great stay No one asked us to buy a time share or participate in any promotions for timeshares We had a very nice week- I will post on the dining and shows threads about all that we did! ![]() Last edited by Adirondackgirl : 04-26-2008 at 10:59 PM. |

Yes, Horizons is well-liked. Perhaps because they have paced their construction they have been able to keep pace in customer service.
Sometimes too big too quick is too bad. ![]() II was once virtually non-existent in the Heartland, but they have done a good job of catching up in Branson. Last week I met two couples from Canada staying in The Villas at StoneBridge on a very reasonable II Getaway (15 bucks per person per day), and they were very pleased. |
