We would probably have to order one of each again and split them because we loved both of them!

MmMMmmmm! Love their burgers.

I prefer a plain old cheeseburger with MAYO - NO miracle whip (what's that stuff made of anyway?) for me either! - I've never asked, do they HAVE mayo if you ask for it?

I want to try the Danna Burger sometime, but always revert to the known YUMMMMM when it's time to order. LOL!

I love Miracle Whip, it's the tangy zip!! However, given my choice I'd rather have mustard with extra pickles and onion, lettuce and tomato only if it's garden fresh. Don't want no fried egg or chili and don't forget the cheese. I don't even need to have fries. I'll eat a few but give me a big burger and I'm happy.

I had expected to get a regular cheeseburger, in my case with katsup, with pickles on the side. But I just had to try their versions. Guess I'm still on a mission (oh, and I want more meat than bun)

Ate at a couple of places today -

Devil's Pool Restaurant at Big Cedar Lodge
REUBEN PANINI . . . $8.95
Thinly sliced corned beef, caraway & sherry sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and 1000 island dressing on marbled rye bread.
All sandwiches served with choice of french fries or sweet potato chips and a kosher pickle.
Soooo Good!!!
The last 2 times we were here were early 1970's and again maybe late 1970's.

Entrance to Big Cedar

Pretty drive down to restaurant and springs to cross

The All American Cafe
DH had the Bacon Bleu Burger (Bleu crumbles, bacon and onion)
and
I had a Little Italy sandwich (Pepperoni, salami, roast beef, provolone, pepperoncini, and Italian dressing)
Both came with choice fries, kettle chips or cup of soup

Mine was a cold sandwich and thin but full of flavor - decided to take a picture of it but not till half was gone Bread was different.

Interesting walls - many, many, many pics of service men and memorabilia

Please pardon the blur - didn't want to disturb others with taking pics

LOL! Suselit, I don't need a picture, I just mention "BBQ sure sounds good to me" and dh is putting his shoes on to take me to Danna's.... which usually means some shopping time as well.

My son LOVES Danna's as well, I think he's taken his girlfriend there to eat at least once a month for the last year. Lucky for him, she loves it too!
