REVIEW: Whispering Hills

Hubby and I decided to give Whispering Hills Inn another shot this past weekend on a whim. We were pleased to find the room nicely refurnished and very clean. It was so newly redone that it still smelled of paint. (not sure if that was a good thing or not, but for some people with bad allergies, this might be an issue... it didn't bother us). The breakfast and ice cream/cobbler 'social' were both very well stocked. We actually took advantage of both this time, which is kinda unusual for us. Both were very tasty. The rate for us was $49.95 plus tax for 2 queens, non-smoking. All in all, we were very pleased and will definitely go back.

Dh and I stayed at WH a couple w/ends ago - and found it very clean, the folks very friendly, and the rooms very comfortable. We were told that they recently repainted, and cleaned the carpet/curtains,... in what were previously smoking rooms, and that they are now a non smoking hotel.

I think we paid $52/night for a king room.

We've always enjoyed our stays at Whispering Hills and the one night we spent there 3 weeks ago was no exception.

Thanks for the review.
I've thought about going down for the day several times in the near future, but hate to drive home alone at night....this sounds like a real winner.
I'd only need one queen...unless a bunch of you gals come on down and we have a PAJAMA PARTY.

Too cute!

Sounds like a lovely place to stay.

I have to say, w/ my asthma allergies, the tobacco would put me into an asthma attack. So glad there are non-smoking rooms available.
