Table Rock news after the flooding

Wasn't sure if should put this thread here or in outdoors but thought more folks would see it here.

In today's Springfield News-Leader there was a lengthy article about how the flood affected the state park and the COE properties at Table Rock. One thing that stood out to me was that Moonshine Beach might not reopen until July or August. Also 400 of the 850 COE campsites are still underwater. The trail between the state park and the Dewey Short visitor center had some major damage. The article also discusses boating fuel prices.

I heard from a local (relative) that the RUFFLES around the edges are going to be soggy for several months....but its going to be okay.

The unfortunate thing is this next week, and the predicted rain day after day after day.....this is what is hurting the area now...we cannot dry out and drain out when the water is being redelivered in these quantities.

Same for all of the Mississippi, Missouri, and Ohio River Valleys.....and all those rivers that feed into the above.
Its really WET.

We had planned to look for the look out "the cloud"? Not sure of the name. Kidfuture had mentioned it in a post. Would it have been across from Dewey Short? I'm not at all familiar with this area yet. It's sounding like this may be a problem with the flooding?
