Club '57 Is Rockin'!!
I've been hitting Club '57 quite a bit lately with friends who are visiting from out of town. If you're looking for some great music, some great times, and a place to dance and let your hair down, come join us at Club '57!! Sting Ray Anthony and company are rockin' the house. It's a great way to catch some good old music, some great original tunes, and just cut loose and have fun -- or sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride...it's your choice.

We totally agree BC. Sting Ray always puts on a great show. Club 57 has become our favorite late night place in Branson.
This season there will be more variety at Club 57. As we understand it, Sting Ray will be the main attraction Tuesday through Friday. Monday night is the Jam Doctors and Saturday night the Horn Dogs. Possibly Blue Holiday will be there some evenings before the main group. Sting Ray or Semperfly, please correct any of this that is in error. Also please post more exact information on times and cover charges. |

I'm not familiar with Sting Ray's music. Is it like all Rockabilly/old R&R type stuff? Do you know who's in his band?

It's some rockabilly, a lot of 50's and 60's, some Elvis, some originals. Band is of course Ray on lead guitar and vocals; Kelly Black on bass and background vocals; Marvin Short on sax and vocals; Darryl Croy on piano and vocals; and I believe Mike Lacey on drums. A real "kick-butt" band and lots of fun!

If you can go to Club 57 between 9 and 10:30 pm you will find the best kept secret in town, locals love them and the girl, Gina Phillips, is by far the best female vocalist ever! Even the local entertainers will agree, she is by FAR the best! The guitarist Larry Holiday is in the Tribute to the Eagles show out at RFD-TV Theatre. Their band is called Blue Holiday. Catch them thursday, friday, and saturday.

We will cheerfully second the opinion of kgmom. We try to see Ray Anthony at least once a week and we always try to get there early enough to catch Blue Holiday on stage. They make an incredible amount of music for a duet. Blue Holiday is worth seeing for themselves, but as a one-two punch with Ray Anthony they create a great evening's entertainment.
We were there last night and were pleased to learn that Blue Holiday is working up some new 50's numbers for the show. If you are looking for some good late night entertainment in Branson, give Club 57 a try. |

I'm not sure how you would classify their music. I heard them a couple of weeks ago. Decent. I'm sure there are those who really enjoyed them. Not necessarily my cup of tea however.

I heard Blue Holiday last week and from what I understand they play a lot of different music.....they are learning more 50's. They really are a great band. They did mention something about a new group on Sunday's. Anyone know what that is about?

Place to dance
We've been looking for a place to dance in Branson and Branson West area.
Sounds like Club 57 would be a good place to try. Does it start around 9pm on Sat evenings? Any other places to dance? We have seen Horn Dawgs before and loved them. Thanks! Zora ![]() |

They have one act on early, around 9pm I think. Then another about 11 or so. I am usually not there until later, after the shows.
