Branson eats...April 6th-10th
Arrived in Branson Sunday nite and checked in at the Clarion Palace Inn.
Headed for Hard Luck Diner for a snack and music. Always our first stop. A nice young gal sang us a song and when I put my arm around her she pointed to the next booth and said thats my husband. He got a laugh out of it all. Great way to start our trip. Monday morn we had breakfast at Grand Country and we always enjoy the food....Monday afternoon we stoped by Billy Bobs for our hamburger fix and always enjoy visiting with Coach. Tuesday Morning we had breakfast at Belgium Waffle House. This is always a favorite. Tues afternoon we went to Danna's and it was great. I had the combo natchos. Beef and pork and my wife had the beef dinner. I needed a nap after that meal. They sure know how to feed. Wednesday..Bob Evans for biscuits and gravy...very good. Wed nite we ate at Dick Clarks and both had almond crusted chicken fingers and its too much to eat but very good. Thurs we had breakfast and a late lunch at Cracker Barrel. Both very good. Oh yes, we had a fried pie somewhere but I can't remember where.  On the side: Friday, we headed back home. Rough drive.. About 8 hrs of 30-35mph headwind. From Springfield to Amarillo. We caught the rain on Wed at dick Clarks and that was not bad. Car was parked close by. We sure feel for the folks that had it really bad. I didn't drive up to the dam. I thot traffic would be a nightmare. We really did appreciate all the great pics people sent. You'All take care....don and jean

Great review.
I could have gone with you and Jean, and with the size of meals these days, I would have shared  Yummmy vacation.

We have been to some of the places you named. This month we expect to try Billy Bob's for the burgers and Belgiun Waffle.
