Early Breakfast

Does anyone, maybe locals, know a good place for breakfast that opens early, say 5 am or 6 am? My DH will be fishing on Table Rock Lake in April and was looking for a good breakfast spot that is open early.

Well,........McDonald's is probably open that early......but, you were asking about a GOOD place eat breakfast, weren't you ?????

My suggestion would be to check the cafes down town.......I'm sure that some of the locals, that post on here, will give you some ideas.

Dh does not like to settle for that, he really likes a good breakfast. (I don't, I would just wait for lunch) I was hoping Billy Gail's opened early because he will be out that way, but they don't open until 7:00 a.m. He will be on the lake by then.

I am still looking if anyone else has a suggestion. Thanks!

Well, there's always IHOP...open 24-hours a day. I've not heard the best things, about their service, but maybe at 5:00 in the morning, it's not so bad.

Thank you Mellie. I had not thought of them. We like the IHOP in St. Louis but have not heard the best about the Branson one. I bet he will try it. Thanks!

I can't get my girl to go INSIDE McDonald's in the morning hours. You can't get her to listen to you, but she INSISTS she smells them cooking the burgers and breakfast together....the smell.....she says gets her sick.

I haven't tried their new skillet burrito's. They look good. I like their little sausage, egg and cheese buritto. YUM!! Hubby likes the griddle sandwiches..YUCK!
