REVIEW: Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show

The show was GREAT and so was the food. And the waitress was really nice. My son loves horses and he was pretty much speechless during the whole show. Keep up the good work and we will be visiting again.

I must agree. DS is first class entertainment. Been there too many times to count and never had a negative experience.

Do kids under 12 get the same meal as the adults? Or is it more of a kids meal?

It is all the same meal. At least I have never seen them serve anything different.

No kids meal, same adult meal for the kiddos.. Which is a lot of food.. Last time we just put our twins on our lap and share our plate with them.. And one time last summer we did purchase a seat for them, actually I think we got free tickets when we did a tour or something. And they didn't even put a dent in their food. So we had 2 goodie bags to go.. I don't know the age they stop letting kids on your lap, but a whole plate for them in really not worth it. However, they do have kid prices so at least your not paying adult prices for the kiddos.

Glad you had a great time..

Dixie Stampede

We went last Saturday afternoon (May 26th) and you defintely get your money's worth! The Horsemanship was outstanding as well as the entire professional show. You defintely received plenty to eat. It was a great show to see, but too pricicy to see again!

We love Dixie Stampede, and have gone 4 times over the last 5 years. We always share food and have 2 of our 4 kids sit on our laps. This year they will be 6 and 4. We still have food left over too!!

I even loved their gift shop, so many horse and cowgirl items!! I did all of my christmas shopping for our little cowgirl there last year!!

Our favorite part is when the girls come out of the ceiling(in the gazebo) wearing the gowns that light up. We even got some great pictures outside with the southern belles before the show started! ( I know you cannot bring cameras inside) but we love the photos outside!! The grounds were beautiful too!

We love DS...great show and food...we're going to see it again this July.

The only complaint...if you can call it such...is that they don't have an ATM machine...or at least they didn't a couple years ago. We were unable to tip our server because we had no cash on us.

Have they gotten an ATM machine? I would think it'd be worth it to them to get one.
