Help Needed for July 3 - 6 lodging. . .

My family (of 25) just decided this past weekend to have a family get together July 3 - 6, in Branson. We would hope to locate cabins or cottages (10-12 rooms in all) and we will need to have a "gathering place" like an outside pavillion or indoors conference room available to us. We decided that Hunters Friend Resort was EXACTLY the place for us! However, when we called to make the reservations, we found out that they do not take less than 5 nights stay reservations Does anyone have any ideas for us to check out? (Our budget for 3 nights is no more than $1500.00 and we really do want to be able to be outside a little bit - hence the cabins/cottages - rather than a hotel. THANK YOU for any leads you can suggest!

Sounds like a vacation home would be ideal for your family. I'm sure someone here can point you in the right direction.

Board member Tyann has a vacation home and her father has some as well that would handle a group of that size. Maybe she'll respond with more details, but I believe this is the link......

Thank you! That is the link to my dad's homes. He is already booked solid for that weekend, though. And I am booked, as well as my aunt and brother. I don't know of any other vacation homes that still have the July Fourth weekend available. I do know of someone who manages several condos, so if you are interested in that route, I can PM you her name and phone number.

You might also try Stillwaters Resort. They have several options. Different sized condos and I also think there is a lake house, maybe. www.stillwatersresort.com

We are staying there this weekend in a 1BR condo. Not sure of their holiday requirements though (3day, 5day ........). There are several lodging places on Indian Point Road. You might do a search for condos on this forum and see what you come up with.

I agree, you may not be able to find anyone over the 4th of July that will rent to you for less than 5 days, or more likely a week.

Hope you find something.

Golden Arrow resort and Treehouse Condo's on Indian Point Road are both you might try. I'm not sure if there's a minimum stay but they are two really nice inexpensive places we stayed at in the last year. Another option would be Outback Roadhouse Hotel. It's not a cabin and they actually on Highway 76. But they are way back off the road in the middle of a tree'd area and have a nice pavillion for family gatherings. Good luck.

condo on Table Rock Lake

I have a two bedroom/two bath (sleeps 6) condo just south of the Kimberling City bridge that is gorgeous located in the Ozark Mountain Resort. I know there are others renting their condos in this development as well, but I am not sure of their availability. The rates on my condo are extremely reasonable for how nice it is. Please PM me for more information.
