SDC checking Baf's
I know there has been alot of discussion on the board about people selling BAF's on ebay, and etc. Just wanted to let everyone know that when we went through the gate on opening day, we gave our two baf's to our dd and sil, and they had to go to the front gate with me (and my season pass) and pay the 10 dollar fee that is now charged for them. If they continue to do this, it will certainly cut down on the selling of the BAF's on ebay. Just thought some of you might be interested in this info.

Thanks for the update post nannac.
That's for the ones that didn't order their passes early and get the BAF's free. Those have to pay for their BAF's this year. But I hope they are checking the ones who are getting them free now too. That will certainly cut down on the selling and misuse of their BAF's.

We gave 2 to a coworker. We were already in the park when they arrived, so I just went to the front gate with my son, handed them across the gate, and they went through. No idea what would have happened if I had given them to her here at home and she'd just gone through when she arrived, and didn't want to chance it.

Was there last friday and lady at ticketbox said they were doing this because of the sales on the internet.We bought season pass for grandson because we are taking all grandkids in June,so saved some money.Too late for any passes .Man was it crowded.

I was at SDC on the second day of operation. I have a season pass, and I used the $15 BAF for my wife. The lady at the ticket booth didn't even ask for my season pass. I handed her the BAF and $15 and that was it.
I guess it depends on the worker. |

Some of the worker's will be stricter than others, I'm sure. After dealing with the crowd's everyday, I can see why.

We are season pass holders and did not know there was an difference in how they are handling BAFs this year.
Reading one of them now, the only applicable restriction I see is INVALID IF SOLD. I read that to mean that you can give one to anyone and they may use it with any season pass holder. Is that the way others understand it? |
