Will SDC be busy on opening day?

The other thread got sidetracked and I didn't see an answer to this question... is SDC normally busy on opening day? We were there for opening week last year, and it wasn't bad, but I don't know about the actual day, and that's when we'll be there this year.

I would anticipate it will be busy - unless it's raining - due to spring break. Not CRAZY busy, but it'll be a happ'n place.

I know this is late..but busy was an understatement. I've gone on spring break since they started it a few years ago...this was by far the worse crowd I've ever seen. Including Christmas

Totally agree we were there on Friday with the thousands and thousands that decided to go the same day....we ran into folks that said they came from Branson and took them 2 hours just on 76 to get to the parking lot. We came in from our condo in Kimberling City, no wait on 76 just in the parking lot to wait for a bus to pick us up, about 25 minutes was all. But the food and ride lines were really, really long!!!
