Generated water levels
I have been reading where the generators are really cranking it out lately. I also see the elevation levels given as, for example, 703.1 and the like. At what 700# can you still wade fish and what 700# is too dangerous?
I have been fishing Taney for the last 10 years and have never bothered to learn this. I just show up, shut up, and fish if I can get in the water. Fly |

Water Levels
To the best of my knowledge with no genertion the water level is somewhere between 701.2-701.4. I do not wade fish and fish primarily from a boat. Fishing with a fly rod and ultra light the way I do, I do , I prefer the water level at 703.2 and below to avoid having to use excessive amounts of weight etc. Once the horn blows at the dam I would get out until I see where the water stablilizes and what areas were wadeable,if any. Sorry I can;t be of more help.
