Paging Fordarama - re: Little Rock

You were so nice to help me last year, so, I'm asking again! We did the Hot Rod Power Tour last year that ended in Little Rock. You advised us that the Wyngate Inn was in a good location, and it was.
This year the tour is starting in Little Rock, and it looks like we will be on it again. The Wyngate is not offered this year as a tour hotel. The list is: Comfort Inn & Suites, Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn I-30, Hilton Metro Center, La Quinta. I just want to be in a safe area and nice accomodations.

Boy, that's a big variation in hotels,
comfort inn, is located in the down town area.......near the river market....
I really don't like the location, crime isn't good in that area,
hampton inn, forget it...........not good area
the hilton is in a mixed area, it has been updated, and is close to the malls,
but the area one block over is almost the ghetto,
I like the fairfield inn, it is next to the interstate and next to a cracker barrel,
and close to mccain mall area with good food and shopping.
there are three laquinta's , only one in a fairly good area is the one on breckenridge, stay away from the other two.......
the one on breckenridge is in west little rock,
The fairfield inn is really in north little rock, but you can get into little rock in minutes.
It would be my choice.........

Thanks so much! I know parts of Little Rock are questionable. We'll go for Fairfield.

The crackerbarrel near there is really good, Always packed........
