Gaskin's Cabin Restaurant?

The wife and I had the pleasure of having dinner at Gaskin's Cabin restaurant in the early 90's. We had prime rib at a very reasonable price, and it was simply the best. Melt in your mouth delicious. I recommend it to anyone who is planning a visit to Eureka.

I was wondering if it is still there. It was located just off of 23, a mile or two north of town. The chef was, according to him, once a chef at the White House, and came to Eureka Springs for a simpler life.

This is a great question for some of our ES locals. I guess it's still open. I know when I lived there, in the late 90's, Gaskin's Cabin received nothing but rave reviews. I never ate there, but would love to.

I'm a local and It's a great place to eat. From the front to the back. The staff is the best. I'm a steak guy and this place works for me. The prices are good. I love the old cabin. You can't go wrong with this choice.

I drove by Gaskins this Tuesday on my way to Holiday Island from Eureka Springs. It is still there but temporarily closed. The sign out front said it would reopen February 1st. Several restaurants and motels in the Eureka area close during January and February.

Gaskins Cabin closes off season for a brief vacation around the holidays. Gaskins is due to reopen in February, just in time for the holidays. The prime rib is indeed their signature dish & my personal favorite, however I've tried many other entrees there as well.
