It's still kind of green, but the little leaves on the trees in my front yard, are falling down, every time the wind blows.

I'd imagine the colors will be very pretty, in a couple of weeks...but, you never know, for sure.

On the Weather Channel this morning someone had submitted an autumn leaves picture of Branson. There was a lot of color - doesn't seem like it would have changed so much since your reports? Maybe it was from another year - they didn't say.

We will be driving up from Texas on Friday. Have the leaves started turning yet? Bob, that was a gorgeous picture. Anyone care to post another picture?

I am roughly 30 - 40 miles north of Branson - Dh and I took a drive today, looking for color, and found very very little. Things are still green -one tree in the woods across from our house is red, but it's the only color we really saw all day, and we can see it out our bedroom window. LOL

I'm planning to be in Branson in a couple w/ends - I will take the camera, and take a few pics if there is color to share. Hopefully there will be.

We took this picture from our deck in late September. It doesn't sound like much has changed as far as color goes.

I work in Spfld, and have quite a view of the city from the upper floors - usually by now, there are some gorgeous tree colors visible, but all I saw today was green, and a little yellowing, nothing pretty.

I do hope they change colors, and the leaves don't just fall off. I love fall, but it won't be the same w/o the oranges, reds and yellows.

We were disappointed last week to experience pretty much zero fall color, but enjoyed our trip to Branson anyway.

Wow! What a difference a week can make!

The leaves still aren't all in their glory, but they are definately turning colors- w/in a week or so the views should be gorgeous in the Springfield Branson area.
