Advice needed please
A neighbor told me there was some kind of public mining/digging place near Eureka? She was there this summer. It sounds like something my kiddos would love, anyone have any info? (I know about the one near Hot Springs, she definitely was in Eureka)
I haven't been to ES in quite a while, dh and I were married there going on ten years ago. We would like to do a trip with the kids and one without sometime in the next year. We had friends that went last February and there was a chocolate festival going on, if that's an annual thing we might do it for our trip. But not sure what to do there for a family trip? Someone mentioned some cabins at a lake? Any advice appreciated  Anne |

I saw something about a mine when I was in ES a few months ago. I goggled and I found the following but nothing about what it is. You might want to give it a call. It could be a rock shop or a mine.
