Sneak Peak photos of Sight & Sound Theater (Part 2 of 2)

Continued from the first Sight & Sound picture thread…

A 3-story walkway is provided off the main stage for the animals to get to the 3rd floor of the ark. Apparently dozens of animals together don't do steps very well.

Lower level where many of the animals are housed who will be performing in the show. Most of these animals are brought in when they are still very young because it's easier to adapt them to the noise and hectic environment.

Part horse, camel, rabbit and L'eggs panty hose. He was fun to play with.

Still relatively young and growing.

Just about every kind of animal that would be found on Noah's ark is already being housed here while construction of the main stage goes on up above.

One of the numeous camels.

Saved from the Branson Landing?

The majority of animatronics are already completed. Many animals up close are hard to tell which are real and which are not. Of course the smell of the surrounding area usually offers a clue.

Here's the training area for teaching the animals their role in the production.

This is where the Sight & Sound staff members wash the animals and senior citizen busses during the off winter season.

Smile Sight & Sound

Thanks for getting those pics for us. It looks bigger from the inside than it does from the outside. What a huge undertaking, but it is coming along suprisingly fast. It seems like they have been working on Fall Creek Steakhouse nearly as long. We have friends who have seen a show at the Pennsyvania site and they say it is an awesome experience. Can't wait for
next summer!

My exact thought. Wow, this theater is going to be one of a kind. Where are they building this? I haven't seen any structure, like that.

Mellie, you can see the theatre from Gretna and from SOH...it's up on a hill north towards 248, but before Mansion America.
Maybe that will help until someone gives better directions.

I logged on just to see if you'd posted the photos. We have a great view of the theater from our hotel room and we started talking about the show. I had to show my kids these photos. We're all pretty excited to see it next year!
