best tent camping spot

I am hoping that someone could tell me the best place to camp with a tent in the Branson area. How are the sites at Table Rock Lake? I know that there are paved pads for campers and pop ups, but what about grassy areas for tents? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our very favorite in this area is Mill Creek off of Highway 13., then Hwy RB in Kimberling City.
Also very nice, is Aunt's Creek off of Highway 13, then Hwy OO...also in Kimberling City.

Both of these are located in the Kimberling City area, just a few miles from Branson West.

I have to ask, how often do you camp at Millcreek. It is my very favorite place and I've made my husband promise not to tell any one where we camp because it is so hard to get into. The sites on the point are my absolute favorites!

Well, you notice I say "my favorite place in the area". Since we're locals, we usually like to get away from the area when vacationing, so we go to Buffalo Point in Yellville, Arkansas, several times a year.

But, a few times a year we want to go for just a day or two, so that's when we go to Mill Creek. That one site that is like a "point", out over the lake is really great, isn't it. It's always taken, so we've never stayed at that one. But, their sites are my area favorites.
