Eureka Springs visit - July 28

DH and I decided to drive down to ES today because he was out of Butt Rub, and he likes to get his Butt Rub at Silly Chiles. (OK OK, it was an excuse to go to ES for the day, but he DOES use their Butt Rub!)

Drove down around lunch time and learned that there is a Hell's Angels gathering there this weekend. WOW! LOTS OF BIKES! The most surprising thing to us, though, was that the ratio of bikers to state patrol/law enforcement was about 1:1! Between Berryville and our first stop in ES (Little Bread Company), we saw 22 police! Very crowded day in ES!

Stopped at Little Bread Company to get a light lunch. DH chose the feta/spinach stuffed croissant and I got the Garlic Grilled Cheese sandwich. YUM-O! I just love this place....the food is excellent, the baked goods are to die for, the staff is friendly, and the environment is so relaxed and comfy

Next it was off to go shopping, which is always fun! Nothing major to report, just a bit of this and that.

Dinner at Ermilio's! Another YUM! Stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, DH (the purist) got spaghetti & meatballs and I had Italian sausage. I love their homemade bread that they serve with roasted garlic, and the excellent homemade chunky blue cheese salad dressing. As always, I boxed up half of mine as soon as it came, so I know what I'm having for lunch tomorrow! Desserts were very tempting, but we passed because we were going back to Little Bread Company to pick up some of the pastries DH got a pecan sticky bun and I chose a slice of carrot cake, which we're both saving until "later".....that may end up being tomorrow because I'm still full from the pasta!

I don't know what Ms Teresa is calling butt rub - but around here it's a mix of salt/pepper/and spices that we use on pork butt, before we cook it for pulled pork.

That's it exactly! (And that's the brand he uses, which we get at Silly Chile's in ES!)

DH had much of the same food, so I don't think he noticed
