Because of work being done at some outlets at Branson Landing, the normal level of Lake Taneycomo is scheduled to be lowered starting Monday, May 21, and remain so until at least the Wednesday, May 23. This could impact on the use of public boat ramps and safety, especially in the upper end of the lake, at and above Short Creek.

As I look out my window my dock the lake is lower than normal even though the tail water depth at the dam is still 701.3. They are not generating and the lake is scheduled to get lower during the day so be careful particularly above Fall Creek and if you take a boat above Point Royale.
