Thumbs up Great opening night

I have to say I think 2007 is going to be a great year for these folks!

Great variety of music ... I think only 7 or 8 of the songs were in last years show. I loved the opening of "Life on the Highway" a personal favorite song.

Doug and Harley were out on prior engagements, but will be in the show starting Monday night so I am looking forward to seeing how that works out ... I was told that the 1st half was about 15 minutes shorter without them there, so it will be a full show!

Some of the highlights for me were:

Andre singing "When a Man Loves A Woman"
Dee singing "Sara's Smile"
Jimmy and Diana singing a duet again (cannot for the life of me come up the with the song ... I could hum it for you - but that is hard to do on this forum)
Natalie's funny performance of "Physical"

And of course the band was AWESOME! The new set makes it were the can "jam" together a little more. I believe this is the best set of musicians in Branson - you can just tell they have fun playing together.

Once I see the "new" version of 2007 with Doug and "Harley", I will post in more detail about the show.

Hope to see you all at the Bart Rockett Theater at 8 pm Monday - Saturday for this great production!

You are right ...it was "Endless Love" as I said if I could hummm it on this thing I would, but not that talented!!

Did anyone make it down tonight to see the show with Doug and Perry? I am going later this week but had to work late tonight.

I saw on Terry's site that both he and Doug will ONLY be in the 8 pm shows this year. Not that they have that many 2 pm shows but I know last year that caused confusion for many people.

Finally!!!

I got to make a QT to Branson this weekend. Wasn't even there 48 hours. However, I did make it to BB Sat. Loved it. Lean on me has always been my favorite song and I wondered for twelve years why it wasn't a Branson favorite. I believe it will be now. I took my 13 yr old sister and a 12 yr old friend from Nixa. We did C of O museum, Butterfly Palace, Hollywood Wax, Hit all three malls and Branson Landing. They loved Hot Topic and Build A Bear. What a combo, I tell you. We ate at Papa Grands, and Casa's. Also Great Wall in Springfield and Lambert's. And went to Borders Bookstore in Springfield, since we couldn't find a bookstore in Branson. It was a wild ride, but totaaly worth it. We drove in Saturday morning and left Sunday afternoon. I have no idea when I will get back this year, but do know I will be there a whole week in 2008, as my grandparents are getting us a condo. Take care. As will I.
