Steel Guitarist Seeking Audition Info

Hello, today is my first day to join this forum. It really looks like a neat site.
I posted a thread on the Branson topic but also wanted to post one here.
I am a Pedal Steel Guitarist. I have been playing for about 30 years. I am the band leader for a local show near Baton Rouge, LA. Our website is www.lpcgjubilee.com. I can provide a Bio and CD Demo if needed. I was offered a position in Branson in 1992 but was unable to accept it at that time. Eureka Springs used to have some shows and I have not been up that way in years so I decided to post a thread here as well. I am interested in audition info if anyone has any. I would appreciate it. I read and write number charts and work a lot of local recording sessions here. If anyone has any info, I would really appreciate it. It would be a blessing. Thanks.

Danny, I don't know when they are having auditions, but the shows in Eureka Springs are the
"Ozark Mountain Hoedown" and "Pine Mountain Jamboree". Click on either website and you
can get the phone numbers to call and ask about audition information.

Randall and Dawayne George at the Hoedown are great guys.

The best advice I can give you is to start sending your promo pack to any show(s) that you're interested in working for. Now is the time if you want to score a gig for this season.

Danny, it all depends on what type of music you play. Papermoon Productions puts on shows at the AUD & stv posts on this board. There's also Eureka Music Park; Lucky 13 Cinema & Sunday Market both feature live music. The local restaurants & a few hotels feature performers, too. Try www.lovelycitizen.com and look up Vern Tucker's column with what's about town - Vern writes which places are having what bands each night.
