Trip Rewview Nov. 16-21

[/left]Thursday 16th we stayed at the Best Western in Carthage

Friday 17th: Spent most of the morning at the Precious Moments Chapel and Grounds. An awsome place to visit.
We arrived in Branson about 2:30. Stayed at Branson Vacation Inn and Suites. We requested the room that we had last year that we really liked. Was disappointed with the room this year. Plus no Christmas decorations anywhere.
We meet up with our friends and had dinner at McGuffys by Andy Williams theater. Great dinner and good service. We then went to see Andy Williams.
A fantastic show as always.
After the show we went to the light display off of 65. It was nice to have it back again this year.
Saturday 18th : Got a late start. We had to run to Walmart and pick up a few things. We meet with our friends about 1:00 to see the afternoon showing of Cirque. We really enjoyed the show. Nothing to do with Christmas but a very taleted cast. For dinner we went to Landrys. We went down to the Landing to walk off our dinner. It was pretty cold so we rushed through. We only caught the tale end of the fountain show. Then off to the Shepard of the Hills to drive through the light display. It took us over 90 minutes to get through. I was not happy with the price. $8.00 per person making it $32.00 for the four of us. I don't remember it being this price in the past. I wish I would of found some coupons for this.

I will continue with review tomorrow.

To continue:
Sunday Nov. 19th. We went on the Branson Bell for the Lunch cruise. The show was great as always. The acrobatic duo were very intertaining. Christopher the magician was good also. And of course the singers and dancers were great. After the cruise we headed for the Tanger Mall. Then a quick dinner at Charlies Steak, ribs and ale. This was a first there for us. The food was good and the service was fast and friendly. We made it in plenty time to our 8:00 show. Broadways Spirt of Christmas with the Osmonds. Great show. I am a big fan of the Osmonds. I just wish they would of sung more christmas music. To end this evening we went to Indian Point to see the lights.
Monday Nov.20th. We went out to find an afternoon show for the day. We decided on the Legends. My DH was really inpressed with the Stevie Wonder. We had lunch at the Hard Luck Dinner. It was fun, but I could see my DH was worried they would come over and make him sing. LOL. We shopped the Christmas Village and pick up a few gifts. The evening show was the Huges Brothers. WOW.... We bought the dinner / show tickets. Not very many there for the dinner part. Maybe only about 6 tables. The meal was nice. We asked if we could stay and watch the show from the balcony. This was a very good show. I can't believe how big the family is. It was so cute when the children would come on stage and sing. I would highly recommend this show. They also had SIX come out and do one song. We wish we would of known more about them. If so we would of made them our afternoon show instead of the Legends. No lights show after the show. We were too tired to drive down to Kimberly City.
Tuesday Nov. 21st. We were awoken at 7:15 of the sound of roofers stripping off the roof of our motel. We were not even notified that this would happen. This was one more strike against this motel. We were up and ready to go by 8:30.We went to Peppercorns for Breakfast. Then we hit the Red Roof mall and did a lot of shopping. Then back on the road about 1:30 to head home.

The least they could have done was dress those roofers up like Santa's elves.

We stayed at Branson Vacation Inn & Suite 11/23 - 11/25. They still had shingles layed out all over the parking lot, but did not do any work during the 3 days we were there. The walls were a little on the thin side and we heard the baby upstairs start crying about 6:00 each morning
