BI has not seen Jimmy Osmond's show. If he had, he would not have made the comment about his "medley of hits." That comment shows his complete lack of knowledge about Jimmy's show. I, for one, hope that BI does not ever see Jimmy's show because I wouldn't want him taking up a seat for someone who truly would like to be there to enjoy Jimmy's talent and sweetness. Jimmy's show is one not to be missed. If you do not see it, you will miss a wonderful, action-packed, full of fun show.

Children of all ages would like Jimmy's show. There is something for everyone. Three of Jimmy's children make appearances in the show. Sophia sings solo and a duet with the female lead, Babette Young, Zachary (5) sings a solo while Jimmy plays trumpet, and even Wyatt (3) comes on stage for a minute with his dad. They are such cute children and are going to follow in their dad's footsteps, I believe.

Hi Engel and Marjorie. :-)

We had a wonderful time at Jimmy's show as well as at his Bros' shows too..
(Hi Connie and Betty)

Jimmy has a great show.. But would you expect any less from an Osmond?.. They have been performing for 45 years now.. well, for Jimmy it's less time.

They finally will be awarded the star on Hollywood's walk of fame next year.. This award is so overdue..

Ok. getting back to Jimmy's show. I love the twinkle in his eyes when he talks about his wife and family. He sings a special song dedicated to them.. Ah I love that song.. called.. "shine".

Have you ever find to be true that it's so hard to come back down off of Cloud 9 after spending a good time in Branson.. I had a wonderful time, but
I'm still trying to get caught up on my sleep..

We need to tell everyone to go see Jimmy's show. They won't be disappointed. I would say that even if I wasn't an Osmond fan/friend..

Take care!
Carol

Hi Carol and Wayneos:

I've been singing the praises of Jimmy's shows since I returned from Branson in Sept. We have reservations to see him again when we visit in Nov.

I'm an Osmond Bros. fan, and see the Bros. every chance I get, but I gotta tell you ~~ I was blown away by Jimmy's show. We told him, after the show, that he certainly outdid himself this time. It's a marvelous show. For all ages. I highly recommend it!

Guess I'm sounding like a broken record, so I promise I won't say anymore. Just hope everyone takes the opportunity to see this show. You won't be disappointed

Now, Carol! You just stay up there on that Cloud. Sounds like it's pretty nice up there !

Hugs,
Marjorie

I've been reading this thread with interest and have tried to ignore BI's remarks. For the most part, I think I've done a pretty good job; however, I am getting sick of the constant Jimmy Osmond put downs. BI -- If Jimmy did sing a medley of his hits, I think they might be a little over your head since most of his hits have either been in Japanese or Spanish.

I have seen Jimmy's show, and it is awesome! There is definately something for every one with the exception of BI -- but then again, his opinion really doesn't mean that much to me anyway since he seems to have a lot to say about nothing!

Trolls will be trolls.

I just wanted to thank all the people who have responded in this thread to my quesion. We are defiently adding Jimmy Osmonds show to our 2003 list of must sees. On his website though it says guest and host and cast changes in June and July. Anyone know anything about what will happen then??

wwgang and Freakyy4life: You won't be sorry! I promise!

wwgang: I know that at the old Osmond Family Theater, the Osmonds use to close for the summer months. I'm not sure what the plans are for Jimmy's theater for the summer of 2003, but I'll try to find out for you while I'm there in a couple of weeks !

Marjorie

Mike: I'm sure the LIGHTS AT SDC will be beautiful

Jimmy Osmond's Show is GREAT!

We just returned from Branson and saw Jimmy Osmond's Show! We thoroughly enjoyed it. We have a 4 year old and he was VERY entertained. He loved the music and the magicians. It really held his attention. After seeing Jimmy's little boy, he has decided he wants to become a singer.

Just wanted to post this for all those who were wondering about taking their children. Hope it helps with your decision!

Saw the show and it was good

I got the local discount but I thought the show was very good.

I enjoyed hearing "alittle bit of country a little bit of rock and roll"

Jimmy is a great performer and even did some magic in the show.

I didn't really care for the Leading Female Vocalist - she had an attitude like she didn't really want to be there.

He also has an alien in the show, this alien made a few appearances but didn't really do anything in the show. I kind of questioned the reason for him being in the show.

Ventriloquist - was very talented, and was very funny as Austin Powers. I normally find the "Powers" character to be offensive but I still couldn't get over how much "Barber" looked like "powers"!

God Bless

My family and I went to see this show last week. We really enjoyed Jim Barber and Mike Bliss! Jimmy Osmond is a very good vocalist. However, I was very disappointed that there was not a live band. I really enjoy watching the musicians make the music. We did think the show was fun though!

Wow,

I hadn't even thought of that. It was so action packed I didn't even notice there weren't any live musicians.
