Wow! Over 20 million lights? Dad gum. That is going to beautiful. I have been watching them decorate via the webcam. They are already putting up the Christmas tree.

.... (think to myself)... I have GOT to get my husband to take me this year!

LadyDrifter...did you not get up enough passes to take your church group? I was hoping that you would get to go with them!

Go to the Candlestick Inn website (www.candlestickinn.com) and click on the webcam spot. I loved to watch it when they were building up the Landing and try to catch the Fire & Water show on it from time to time. Really interesting. I'll have to go check it out later in the evening and see what it looks like.

Ms. Patty... my husband is having second thoughts about trying to get such a large group together to go. We have done it in the past, and it was a task and a half. I have received passes from a couple of very nice people, so I have a total of 6 right now. If I end up not being able to use them, I will offer them back to those who sent them. Whether we take a group.. or we go by ourselves... I would love to see the lights this year.

I can see that would be a very big under-taking..and y'all are very special to even think about it! Anyway...I bet that you will get to go...I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Well, thank God they are adding some songs to the fountain choreography!

From bransonlanding.com:

Quote:
Adding to the charm will be the dazzling $7.5 million Branson Landing fountains, which will be choreographed to a special new Christmas song – the Martina McBride’s, “All I Want for Christmas is You.” . Branson Landing features the first-ever merging of water, fire, light and music. It features fountains gushing water 120 feet into the air and fire cannons blasting choreographed fireballs high above Lake Taneycomo. With the addition of the new Christmas song and the new choreography of Joe Walsh’s “Rocky Mountain Way”, the current play list includes Whitney Houston’s, “Star Spangled Banner” and Van Morrison’s, “Moon Dance.”

I just checked out the Branson Landing site and there was a place to download a passport coupon and take it to the management area. Has anyone gotten one of these and if so what is included in it.
