Rules for the America's Got Talent Auditions

Got talent? We're talking enough talent to be on NBC's "America's Got Talent."

Then audition on Monday, September 25
at Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa and Convention Center,
415 N. Missouri 265, Branson.
Doors open at 10 a.m.; lineup starts at 8 a.m.

Rules for auditions (from the NBC Web site):

1. Prepare a 90 second routine and a 90 second backup routine.

2. Singers are required to sing a cappella.

3. Songwriters/musicians/rappers can sing/rap to a track of an original work or cover and/or play your own instrument(s).

4. Bands — basic equipment will be provided (see the Web site for a list).

5. Entertainers that require an amplifier will perform in the band room.

6. Using a backing track (not singers — see number 2)? Bring a CD.

7. No fire, sharp objects, weapons or explosives (pyrotechnics) allowed. You may bring supplemental material (demo tapes/DVDs).

8. Younger than 18? Arrive with a parent or legal guardian.
