Smile Dining at Joe's Crab Shack

I had a late Lunch today with three friends at Joe's and we agreed it was a fun experience.
We had no more than a 2 minute wait at 1:00pm.
Most of the tables were occupied when we arrived, but we still were able to get a table with a great lake view.
We could have chosen to eat outside, too.
The wait staff was friendly and efficient.
Our drinks order, corn muffins and our fish sampler and crab dip appetizers came quickly.
We decided preferred the crap dip.
Our cokes were fresh and fizzy.
My chicken club was excellent, my friends burgers were huge and had a good smokey flavor and the chicken fingers were generous and tender.
We saw a cute Chicken Dance.
And an induction into the Parrot Head Club.
And I met Mellie! and we had a nice little visit before I left.
But I shall return to Joe's.

I did have fish and crab appetizers
The smoky chicken club with cheese and avacodo and tomato was so tempting...
My friends and I are a band of fish heathens, I guess.

the Parmesean Shrimp, on the pasta dish were WONDERFUL - dh and I both loved them - would LOVE to see Joes make the Parmesean shrimp into a meal, without the pasta.

Click on this link & go to Menu.

We've learned we can fill up on appetizers & not want the entre
when it comes, so we've learned to wait before ordering........

dh and I are guilty of occasionally ordering an appetizer, and dessert - skip the healthy entree all together.

Mellie, what's a good time to get there on a Saturday & not have a long wait? My birthday is next week, & my sister, daughter & I are going to celebrate Saturday....I'd love to give you guys a try, but I've heard the horror stories of the wait times, so I was worried about going on a Saturday! Thanks!

Thanks for the info! I just got an email coupon for my birthday....free "appetizer of the day" with 2 adult entree purchases, so we are ready to go! Thanks again!

We ate at Joe's last Thursday at noon and only had a 10 minute wait and the landing was busy. On Sunday we at there again at noon and had no wait at all. I got the Coconut Shrimp. For lunch size and price it was around $8.50. For the lunch order, it only came with fries, so I subsituted a twice baked potato for an extra $1.00, so now I was up to almost $10.00. Now, look below and see what all I got at Dave's for $10.00.

On Saturday night the landing was packed and we ate at Famous Daves. We had a 45 minute wait, but they gave us a buzzer, so we walked around and shopped. The food was wonderful and you get a ton for the price. My meal was $10.00 for dinner and I got the Texas sliced brisket. It had 6 slices and they were not the thin slices, these were very thick. They were served over Texas toast (the way we make open face roast beef sandwiches), cornbread, corn on the cob, coleslaw, and drunken apples (they are fried apples that have been soaked in amaretto).
