Singers/dancers Dancers
Many of the shows have singers/dancers and dancers in them. Those performers add so much to the shows, but are not really appreciated. I can't remeber seeing any mistakes. Just think if you dance, and then have to sing. I would be out of breath just climbing to the stage. I just feel that they deserve a lot of credit. Give them all a hand!!

To work in Branson, you have to be talented in everything......
![]() Amazing how they dance/sing/makepopcorn/usher/makefudge/parkcars.....and after the break, their makeup is perfect, they have lungs full of fresh air, and they trip the light fantastic, while singing High C over C......[is that possible?] Jacks and Jills, of all trades, for sure. [applause]...!

Recently, we saw the #1 Hits of the 60's. The whole cast was awesome.
I was amazed how the dancers were constantly on the move and still sang with out being out of breath. The Band did a fanstastic job as well. I can only imagine how tired they all may be after their performance. (one more note).. on the way to see the #1 hits of the 60s.. noticed a few cast members on the strip, with signs encouraging people to come see the show. They were quite noticable, with their tie dye shirts. GREAT JOB ! Last edited by Carol/MO : 09-03-2004 at 08:58 PM. |

To understand why the dancers were not out of breath while singing, consider "voice on tape" and midi. Not suggesting that was the case here but in some situation, it might be.

Thank You!
Carol/MO, Thank You for your kind comments about #1 Hits Of The 60's. I'm so glad you enjoyed the show. All of us at #1 Hits Of The 60's are very proud of our show. Part of that pride comes from the fact that our show is 100% LIVE! All of the 100+ songs in the show are performed live by our 8 Singer/Dancers and our 8 piece Band. There are no voices on tape or midi involved and our Producer, Management & Show Owners are committed to keeping it that way. Once more, thank you, and I hope you are able to visit us again in the near future. Sincerely, R.C.

It is possible to sing, and dance and not be completely out of breath - it's just like any thing else athletic (yes, dancing and singing IMO are athletic!), you've got to be in shape and practiced up.
I sit here, in front of this screen too much, thus I'd pass out just trying to dance my way across the stage these days, and you don't want to hear ME sing! ![]() |
