Flat Creek Restaurant

Either of the Flat Creek Restaurant at Cape Fair or Republic is a bit of a drive; but both have very good catfish.

My choice would be Danna's BBQ.

Their catfish is awesome.

Danna's without question for fillets. Two large golden and crispy fillets, a pile of great fries, slaw, really good BBQ beans, and a Memphis Roll that is beyond delicious.
If your appetite isn't that large, tye catfish sandwich has one big fillet, and fries.

catfish

Fall Creek Inn serves two nice fillets. What about big restaurant that looks like an old paddle wheel boat that is off Green Mountain Road, right behind Branson's Best Hotel? Has anyone eaten there?

Yes! And I believe they still do all you care to eat on Friday nights.

Yes, all you can eat on Friday and Saturday. But, it is whole, bone in catfish. Not the fillets as the OP was asking for.

After reading the reviews on numerous sites like Tripadvisor, and Yelp we decided that it would not be an experience to enjoy!
The reviews, and ratings answered one long time question about that place. Why don't we ever see many cars in the parking lot?

Sorry..:I missed th part about fillets. My dad has always preferred while, bone-in catfish, so that is why Farmhouse has always been my go-to for Catfish.

As far as Wheelhouse is concerned, I was there once. Never again. Not sure which was worse, the food or the service. Ugh.

We tried the Catfish Hole in Kimberling City last week and really enjoyed it. I had the catfish and my husband had the shrimp. Both were very good. Service was great too.
