A lot of water!

But still thankfully no flooding in the Tri-Lakes.
Table Rock is back up, slowley dropping below 918. With one turbine still down the pattern of 3 full units, and 5 flood gates open one foot will continue for some time.
Because one turbine can not be used, the gates are only releasing the same amount of water as one unit. So total release is at approximately 15,000 cfs, or the equivalent of 4 full units.
Fishing in Taneycomo has been good from boats, but difficult from the bank. With the water coming in from the top of Table Rock in addition to the cold water from the deep intakes for the turbines the temperature of Taneycomo is in the upper 50's. Cool enough for the trout, and warm enough with high dissolved oxygen levels to make them active, hungry, and hard fighting.
Many methods are producing good catches. In the trophy area above Fall Creek a double rig with two scud flies drifted on or close to the bottom has been very productive. Below Fall Creek a night crawler on a drift rig, or a Berkley Trout Worm drifted on the bottom is king. Around the Landing trolling a spoon is producing a lot of newly stocked fish. A Little Cleo, or Boyant in gold, or gold with red dots being the most popular.
Voted Branson's Best Trout Fisherman
