Question Planning wedding in Branson - need hotel recommendations

Hi! My name is Lisa and my fiance and I are trying to see if we can put together a wedding for Jan 2, 2004. I know last minute but that's us ~ spontanious! LOL! Anyway we have four kids between us 13, 10, 1 and 2 months and we are looking for a very kid friendly hotel to stay in while we are there. We had considered the one with the water park in it but now I'm wondering if there is something there that would appeal to the two older kids which is the ones we are worried about. I'm wondering if the water park hotel would be best or is there other hotels that offer more in the way of something for them to do since it is the middle of winter now. Any help, suggestions would be much appreciated! I don't know if we can pull this off or not but we are sure gonna try!

Welcome to the board, Momof4!!

I think the Grand Country Inn, is a great choice!
I'm sure the older kids will enjoy the water park, too! There is also an indoor mini-golf, at the Grand Country.
I can't think of any other motel, that would offer as much, for you and your kids.
Some of the motels, in Branson, close up for the winter.

Have a great time! And....CONGRATULATIONS!!

Excellent choice in motels...will appeal to young and old alike...like scissortail stated close to indoor mini golf and Grand Country Buffet and Papa Grands Pizza buffet. Most of the other motels would just have the standard indoor pool. They'll be plenty to keep ya busy..Imax, Ripley's Believe or Not, Hollywood Wax..and of course shopping. Day trip to Springfield to visit Bass Pro and eat at Lamberts. Have fun and Congrats....Branson is where hubby and I honeymooned 19 1\2 years ago....and still keeps us coming back.

WE stayed at the Grand Country this pass summer. I think its the only choice for your family that time of year with your kids. they will have a ball. My wife and I even enjoyed the waterpark. Congrats on the wedding and I hope things work out well.

I'm not sure if I am replying right, I hope so. Thank you everyone for your responses! I really appreciate it. Unfortunately it doesn't look like we will be able to get married over New Years weekend after all. We just cant make it work out. We may still go to the hotel for the long weekend though. Again, many thanks for all your help!
