It's Fall!

7;00 this morning 49 degree's strong north wind, cloudy.... couple hours later it's still in the low 50's, cloudy and windy. reminds you of fall.

i'm still betting on a hot sticky summer, may not start till Sept.,

We had Spring here in Lenexa for about two weeks, had summer for about two days and now it is fall. Time really flies when you are having fun--or living in Kansas, where the weather changes daily.

Saturday I painted the floor of my business and have been leaving the screened window on the door cracked at night to try and get some of the enamel odor out of here... this morning I opened up and it was 60 degrees inside. I worked for awhile with a jacket on and finally gave up and said I don't care if it is almost the 1st of June... I turned the heat up.

sun's out now, still have a cool north wind, no humidity... that's really strange for Oklahoma in late May normally there'd be a heat index of 150 or so out.

Smile Speaking of weather

Our first trip to Branson is now just over a month away...

What sort of weather should I expect?

Thanks.

Take your pick...
hot
hot and humid because it's raining
mild, in the 80's
mild with rain

There's no predicting. Just be sure to check out weather.com, accuweather or weather underground about a week before your visit.

No fall -- I spent the day in NE AR and I'm now in the bootheel of MO. Was in the mid to upper 80s today. One of my accounts had the heat on in the store and I thought I was going to pass out. Thundershowers this afternoon. Got to motel -- no A/C in halls on the 2nd or 3rd floors or in elevator . Got into room and it took a very long time for AC to start cooling off the room. Finally went to WM to buy a fan. Room is almost comfortable now. Sure miss Branson room prices -- there are 3 motels here, one looks like it was built in the 60s and the other 2 in town charge an arm and a leg for what you get.
