REVIEW: Sadie's Sideboard & Smokehouse - Great Food

We eat there often. Everything about the place is outstanding especially the quality of food and the service.

They could use a little larger salad bar, but with such great mashed potatoes and fantastic ribs, who cares?

If you want a great stick-to-your-ribs meal full of good, hot, tasty food, this is definitely the place for your. Not too expensive either!

Does Sadie's have new owners?? The quality of food there has been on the poor side for many years. That's the one across the street from the Baldknobbers.

I was wondering about that, too, Jakwi.
I did not have the same opinion of the resturant as above REVIEW. We had a different experience there.

We've been going there consistently for about the last three years and have never had anything but the best food and service. As a matter of fact, when we have guests from out of town, we make it a point to always take them there at least once.

The buffet is wonderful. I am not a dessert eater but others have exclaimed what wonderful tasty cobbler they have. What did you find disagreeable?

NOT someplace where I will return to ... we made the mistake of trying to eat at their buffet a couple years ago - and we both went away hungry. I love good bbq ribs - but what was on their buffet didn't resemble good food - unless they've changed ownership, I would not take the risk of spending my money at Sadies, there are too many good places to eat to waste money and time on the bad places.

...but it does sound like you might find Donsgal there if you're looking for her.

buffet -- poor
dessert-- avg at best
service -- good
wait-- usually busy, 10-20 minute wait for a table
sandwiches-- really only thing worth going for, big helping, good fries.

Enjoyed going to Sadie's in the past, but the last time there made me believe there are a lot of better places in Branson to eat at. Then started to read on the board that others didn't care for them now.
Wish Sadie's would return to what I remember several years ago.

That's why I never take any one person's opinion of a restaurant as the gospel truth. I like to hear what everyone has to say.

We have tried Sadies ourselves, but this is a place we will not eat at ever again. The buffet food was very cold, bland with no taste at all. I can think of several other places to spend our good hard earned money in Branson. It seems every time we drive bye, including last weekend the parking lot is empty. We are always driving down the strip during a meal time and happen to look over and it is empty. I am surprised this place is still in business. Hopefully, a new resturaunt will take over very soon.. The place needs major improvement. JMO.. Thanks
