The Mabe's and "pardners" did not buy that theatre..

It would have to be pardners that are financially tied to the show.

Their current location, like just about every theater in town, is for sale. Been trying to sell it for years since the original acrobat show that was there moved on. They want $3.4 million and will never get it. I believe it is still owned by the Dailey family who built it.

It all sounds like a very dysfunctional family to me. I can’t see how any son could fire his parents. I assume, but maybe I’m wrong, that he may not have ever been given a chance in the show without their help. I tried the show after it changed a few years ago and didn’t like it at all. The music was so loud and the vocals were such that if I didn’t know the song I had no idea what they were singing about. I just couldn’t understand the words the way the singers were shouting them and the music was so loud and drowning out the songs. I have always preferred the Presley‘s show. They have a wide variety of types of music in the show, and I can understand what they are saying/singing. I would definitely not classify it as a hillbilly show. I don’t know whether I have really even ever been to a truly hillbilly show in Branson.

I have always wanted to go to one of the Baldknobbers Wednesday afternoon gospel shows, but just never made it. I would be inclined to try that, but probably not their regular show again.

Formula for making a small fortune in Branson entertainment

There really is no big secret to making a small fortune in Branson with an entertainment venue.
Start with a large fortune and it will become small soon enough.

Just saw that Droopy Drawers Jr. will now be part of both Ozarks Gospel and Ozarks Country shows on Sundays at Grand Country Music Hall!

KUDOs to Tammy & Tonya, and of course to Mike Patrick and his team! Such a smart and great move on all their parts! It will be nice for the cousins to be together again!
