Cool You Can't Steal My Christmas

YOU CAN'T STEAL MY CHRISTMAS
Poem by Sharon Steege

I don't know who they are
Saying I can't greet the crowd
The way that I want to
Can't say CHRISTMAS out loud.

I walk into a business place
See things that I rather not see
But dare I not say CHRISTMAS
And ask for a "holiday" tree.

What happened to freedom of speech
And living in the land of the free
How can they take my CHRISTMAS money
But can't say MERRY CHRISTMAS to me.

Men and women have given their lives
So we could still go free
I wonder how they would feel
At saying "HOLIDAY" TREE.

Come on AMERICA let's wake up
Don't let our freedom escape
If they get by with doing this
What else will they take.

This is starting to get out of hand,
And I've begun to keep track
Well I've just about had enough
I'M TAKING CHRISTMAS BACK.

So MERRY CHRISTMAS AMERICA
I hope this gets all over the net
If we all stand united and take freedom back
'Twill be our best CHRISTMAS YET!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY

Well said!!! In fact I put a "MERRY CHRISTMAS" magnet on the back of my car. Found it in a dollar store. I read that someone had done this on an other board and I loved the idea. Now people I pass are greeted with a big Merry Christmas!!!

Smile The Judge

HOORAY FOR THIS JUDGE

In Florida, an atheist became incensed over the preparation for
Easter and Passover holidays and decided to contact the local
ACLU about the discrimination inflicted on atheists by the
constant celebrations afforded to Christians and Jews with all
their holidays while the atheists had no holiday to celebrate.
The ACLU jumped on the opportunity to once again pick up the
cause of the godless and assigned their sharpest attorneys to
the case.
The case was brought before a wise judge who after listening to
the long, passionate presentation of the ACLU lawyers, promptly
banged his gavel and declared, "Case dismissed!"
The lead ACLU lawyer immediately stood and objected to the
ruling and said, "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this
case? Surely the Christians have Christmas, Easter and many
other observances.
And the Jews--why in addition to Passover they have Yom Kippur
and Hanukkah ...and yet my client and all other atheists have
no such holiday!"
The judge leaned forward in his chair and simply said
"Obviously your client is too confused to know about, or for
that matter, even celebrate the atheists' holiday!"
The ACLU lawyer pompously said "We are aware of no such holiday
for atheists, just when might that be, your honor?"
The judge said "Well it comes every year on exactly the same
date---
April 1st!"
The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."
- Psalm 14:1, Psalm 53:1

I echo "Merry Christemas" to y'all, too. Have a good one! And, remember "Jesus is the reason for the season."

A friend told me today that when people say "Happy Holidays"
she reminds them that the phrase comes from Happy Holy Days....
and then she wishes them Happy Holiest of Days; Christmas.
