Tearing down the motel by Dick Clarks

Noticed them tearing down the hotel with numerous buildings by Dick Clarks at 1600 West 76. Something being built there?

The property has been for sale for a couple of years. Hopefully the destruction of the old Ramada Inn means the property has been sold for redevelopment.

I always thought back up under those trees was one of the prettier places left along the strip, I hope whatever goes in will work with the landscape and leave as much as possible.

Probably more go kart tracks, bumper boats, zip lines, giant swings, etc.

Is the Ramada all gone now? I believe the Oak Ridge Boys used to stay there in that nice building by the nice lobby building. The motel part was really old.

Not all gone as of yesterday. There was still one building left. I’m sure it will be gone soon. Then they will start the monumental task of removing all of that debris.

It was looking pretty bad. I often park on that side when eating at Branson Center Stage. It was not a pretty sight.

YEARS ago, they use to have some a very good Sunday buffet there, I believe it was a Holiday Inn at the time.

Anxiously anticipating what will take its place.
