Wonder if anyone else has noticed this??
When traveling west by the Ridge intersection, the newly completed raised concrete area (island) that surrounds the traffic light pole on the right appears to be quite close to the highway. Seems like just the slightest driver distraction and you will be bouncing off the curb, probably into the oncoming traffic.

Construction zone, people should slow way down, especially because of the hills and curves but to be fair, maybe the worker done something they should not have. There will be an investigation.

The stop light will be at the to of a hill. The sight lines are awful. How did MoDOT ever approve this? The only advantage to this intersection would be if the bank entrance is realigned to this new light.

I Just drove through the new lane changes near the new stop light/ intersection with the new turn lanes now open and painted off. That is going to take some getting use to after years of traveling that stretch of 76. Those cement "curbing" are awful close to the driving lanes like someone else just mentioned. At least they are painted a nice bright white to get your attention. I Wonder what the speed limit will be through there? The stoplight poles are now up and I expect the actual lights to follow soon. I hope something actually is developed soon in there, for all the changes along that section of 76.

The lights are installed as of today. (switch not thrown yet)

Anybody who doesn't feel safer already just isn't trying hard enough...

Wonder if they will blink yellow for a while to get drivers used to them.
