Cabins for the End Times??

Anyone here bought what, I guess would be deemed, an "Apocalypse Cabin", out in Blue Eye? Hmmm...

Can’t wait to see the “Safest Spot For The Apocalypse” rack cards all over town. This was on Drudge Report yesterday, seen by millions of people. How embarrassing. Sadly, this will be reinforcing the negative image many people have about Branson. It’s a shame, but all of the advertising money in the world about the great things in Branson can’t offset an actual news article being seen around the globe on one of the internet’s most popular websites. If you look at this article there’s also a link to an even more damaging article that was published earlier this year.

Hmm, nice to know that if you are vacationing in Branson during the end, you will be pretty safe.

my luck instead of in the cabin at the end I'd probably be stuck in traffic going to SDC, so maybe I need to buy one of those buckets of food he used to sell.

LOL !

Closer to home, Yellowstone has the Geologists or Vulcanologists, or whatever they are called, worried. Big old Steamboat Geyser just erupted, again, on May 4th for the fourth time this year.

I went there once, a year or two back, because some friends I have who had their own show in Branson were the invited music guests for his "service"....the music part was fun, as usual...but the rest of the program was, well...lets say very "unique".....I just kept looking at him and thinking, does he really believe all he says, or is he "performing" for his faithful followers. I think maybe he has convinced himself about what he says, and is also a "believer". But, I could be wrong, at that.

Maybe you want to try out a condo first?

"According to the show's website, condo rentals begin at $70 a night, with an additional fee for cleaning. It's unclear how much it would cost to purchase one. A voicemail message left with the number listed for information about condo sales was not returned."

To paraphrase a famous person; "You can fool some of the people some of the time... and most of the time, that's enough."

Now there you go, Tort, being the voice of reason.

I suppose the Hills and Hollars of the Ozarks have attracted Snake Oil Salesmen in the past. We Christians are a forgiving bunch, but that doesn't mean we have to be gullible.
He is definitely trying to trade off of Branson's good reputation.
I guess we continue to laugh....?

well... it may be the apocalypse but at least for an additional fee you can have your condo cleaned.

Maybe he will offer an “area appreciation” rate.

Be sure to have it cleaned after the apocalypse, so you do not incur additional cleaning fees on top of your normal cleaning fees.

Considering the con man behind it it's not very safe for your money!
